I was thinking of buying secondhand baby gear but i'm afraid of bed bugs?

I was going to buy some secondhand baby gear from garage sales, secondhand stores, ect. But recently bed bugs have been everywhere on the news and such saying how bad they have been this year. What are the odds of bed bugs being in a bouncer or something from a secondhand store? I am freaking out!

Is lawn mower bag required?

I got the used lawn mower from garage sale. It runs great, but it doesn't have the bag... Do need to get a vacuum, air blower or swipe the grass? If i don't clean up after, would it damage the lawn... Thanks

I need help before I kill myself! I'm under water and loosing interest in fixing my life?

I' so lost in my situation I have no idea what to do. My therapist gave up on me and I don't want her pills. I lost my job. My husband is trying to sale our home but no one is buying it and we can't afford it anymore because his job cut back and my job let alot of people go. I'm upside down on my car that is broken down. It needs a new engine and we can't afford that. I owe 8,455 on my loan and I can't get a job because we can't afford to fix the car. I can't sale it because it's upside down. I can't share our other car with my husband because he works 70 hours a week and more to pay all our bills and both our credit is maxed out. We can't take out anymore loans and we don't have any friends or family well off enough financialy to help us. Our home isn't selling and it's worth 170k. Our agent said we have gone as low as possible on the asking price. My husband is stressing so much as he is stuggling to pay all the bills and I feel like a piece of shit for not being able to help. The broken down car that is upside down on the loan sits in my garage. It was estimated to cost 3,500 to fix it and we have no way of paying for that. And my monthly payments are 457.33 a month. There are no businesses within walking distance for me to get a job. There are no buses or taxis out here. I have no idea what to do and I've been thinking about suicide more and more everyday. I know that is a horrible way to think but as we fall deeper into trouble with no answers I seriously don't know why I should stay breathing. If anyone has any advice PLEASE PLEASE tell me. Anything! I'm so desporate for a ray of light.

What exactly is this GUITAR?

Here is a link to my flickr account where I loaded some pics of the guitar. I am thinking that the body is "homemade" seeing that it is rough in some spots. But then there is a serial number plate [L300512] where the results turn up that it is a 91 92 Japan made Fender. But that could have been easily put on by the previous owner, I have searched and searched and cannot find one like this. This was bought at a garage sale for 1 dollar. It has vintage Gibson tuners and a DiMarzio pickup. What I want to know is if the body is an original or not... anyone? thanks.

We can catch bee's and sick them in the fan. We can take our cheap Walmart shoes and draw Nike signs on them and pretend we have Nike's. Like I make hair bows and I was wondering if i could put signs around town like draw a little bow and put "bow sale cute accessories for hair" or something like that, and just sell bows in my front yard lol. Have ppl done this before? Is this a bad idea? Helpppp

3 teens moving into apartment question?

If we ALL work Full time (also may have a 4th member joining us) we shouldn't have too much of a problem affording a apartment with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths Rent: 935-960$. plus all other expenses. ALSO if we spent 2--3 months saving money before we move we should be ok right? our savings should pay for furniture. 2nd question: Should we just buy our furniture in stores or garage sales whatever lol or try something like Rent A center?

I can't trust my dad with money? And he expects me to..?

Put his name on my checking account as an account holder?
He told me to do this so he can "keep an eye" on my account while I'm away at boot camp just in case something happens.
I immediately got a red flag that said "BULLSHIT" in my head.

It's very weird though, he's a business man and you wouldn't expect this out of someone who works for their money. But all of the sudden he's making me suspicious.
Two months before my 18th birthday he pulled 50k out of MY savings account (I had no idea I was even a PRIMARY holder of this account until I turned 18).
He said I "owed" him, uh wtf for?
He also said since I get a GI Bill that I don't need that money. Which is uhh BS. It was social security money from my mom's death.
Ugh anyways...

Now he's asking me to do all this stuff and there is only $300 left in my savings and he wants me to make him have access to my checking account.
On top of all this, he suggested that I give them the stuff I want to sell at a garage sale (which I won't be at while they do it) and he would "give me the money for my stuff"... uh also BS!

How can I avoid giving him access to my account to MY money?
I really need help because I seriously do not trust him what-so-ever anymore.
Sadly, I live with him still and can't just be a rebel. Lol. I will be here for another 1 month and 2 weeks before boot camp.

Hi, i found an old singer at a garage sale. it has a serial number on it JA 729955, from what ive been able to find out its from 1924 and was manufactured either in new Brunswick or Quebec (two different sites told me two different place) but what i cant figure out is the model number of it in order to get a manual. I know nothing about sewing or about machines. There is no number on it and from the singer site the records from canada are not very good. any help? hoping someone else has been looking.

How do you politely tell someone to stop buying so much crap?

Someone in my husbands family is CONSTANTLY buying things for our daughter. She has 5 strollers because every time this person has seen one at a garage sale, she's bought it.

She's always calling to say she's going out to garage sales, and asking if our daughter needs anything and I always say "No, she has too much stuff already but thanks anyways". Then she'll call back hours later saying she has a few bags of stuff for our daughter.

I'm happy she wants to help out, but she knows we barely have enough space for mine and my husband's things and every time she buys stuff it isn't helping. Plus she knows that I'm a HUGE germaphobe and it freaks me out if my daughter has something used and it hasn't come from a family member or friend where I know that they're clean people.

I can't just tell her to stop buying stuff, because it's obviously not getting through to her when I tell her not to. I usually end up donating everything so it's at least being used by someone...I just want her to stop spending her money on stuff we don't even need. Any ideas?
Those clothes in stores haven't had kids sitting in them for days at a time. I have no idea if a stranger takes care if their kids or not.
Frank I don't think it's that. She's very religious and thinks shopping is a sin. I've gotten countless lectures about how god doesn't approve of shopping because then you're "putting something before him". I think she just misses having a baby or something.
I have no problem with used strollers. I just don't like the idea of her being in clothes when for all I know the child has sh*tty parents who let them sit in their own pee, puke and snot for days at a time.

im 13 and i really want to make enough money to get the clothes i want for school. i have extra chores and had a garage sale already. what else can I do? babysitting is out of the question because around here you need to take classes before you can babysit which sucks :/ thanks :)

So I'm really busy with school, but I'm free on weekends. I've been trying to find a part-time job, but that turned out unsuccessful. I have extra clothes that don't fit me anymore, and I've been meaning to sell them, maybe a garage sale? I'm also really good at make-up but it's not like I'm licensed or anything. What could possibly be causing bees in my city to actually chase people?

The other day, my boyfriend and I were walking to my parents house when a bee came near us. We are both terrified of bees, but we decided to try to just stand still and mind our own business so the bee will leave us alone. The bee kept coming closer to us anyway, refusing to back off. We walked away slowly- and the bee kept following us, getting closer and closer. Being afraid of bees like we are, we started running away from it a little. The bee followed my boyfriend and myself for a good five minutes, swarming around us. I thought it was a little strange that it was following us down the street for that long, but other then that, I didn't think too much of it.

Then today I had a horrifying experience. I got out of the car after coming back from a shopping trip, and a bee landed on top of the car. I didn't want another bee experience, so I stepped away from it slowly. Apparently the bee already saw me, because it started flying directly toward me. I walked away and yet it continued buzzing behind me still. This time was even worse then the day before, as it had me running down the street in circles actually CHASING me (for what was probably 3 minutes or so) At a garage sale today I heard a neighbor complain that there seems to be a much higher number of bees out then usual, and that they have been very aggressive and have chased several people.

My grandma says that it might be mating season for the bees perhaps, but it still seems a little strange to me that bees are being so extremely aggressive here. I'm terrified of bees, and would love to hear your thoughts on what could possibly be causing this behavior in bees. And also please let me know if people are experiencing these issues elsewhere as well. Thanks for any insight you can provide!
Dancefly..... I live in new Baltimore, Michigan. I have a strong suspician that they were bees from looking at them, but seeing as though I'm not an expert on the subject I can't tell for sure. I wasn't wearing bright clothing or perfume at the time (dark clothing actually!)

Help me clean my closet!?

I am in my early 20's and my family might be moving to another state...I need to get rid of soo much stuff in my closet...old toys,books, soo much stuff. I need my closet to look nice for the real estate people and anyone that might come look around my room.

How do I start and what do I do with all the stuff in my closet....some stuff just throw away?? what is okay to throw away and what should I donate or whatever? also I will Not have a "garage sale" so that is not an option.
